June is PTSD Awareness Month

Even though all those who deal with PTSD (PTS), have to deal with its effects, the month of June is designated National PTSD Awareness Month.  This is when additional focus should be made to get more awareness out there.  Too many people simply do not understand what the condition is or how to help those who suffer on a daily basis.  If you want to help in your community, volunteer at your local VA.  More and more outpatient clinics are opening up.
